Dr. Paul's Back, Glute and ITB Stretches
The low back, glute, and ITB stretches help prevent low back, glute and iliotibial pain. They are indicated for those without bulging discs in their low back: they can be deadly for those with underlying bulging or "slipped discs." Pull the front leg's foot into your groin area and lean forward over the foot in front of you. Leaning to the left primarily stretches your right lower back and vice versa. Moving the foot in the groin area forward 1-2 feet stretches the glutes and the iliotibial band origin in the hip area.
